This zine began as a critique of my own photographs, evolved into a drawing exercise and took its final form as a printing experiment. In a sense, it’s about the meeting place of my own expectations and reality. I made the drawings by carving into a mixture of acrylic medium and paint. When the resulting images were printed on the risograph, the texture of the medium added new areas of color and shape to each image.
